This course is aimed at deepening the general awareness of major postcolonial authors writing in English which the students received in the respective undergraduate course. The general overviews of Canadian, Australian, Irish, Scottish, Indian, Caribbean and African literature written in English is complemented by close reading of unabridged assigned texts and historical underpinings of the colonial and postcolonial era.
