The course consists of survey of basic calculus methods useful to students of business, information science, as well as social and many other sciences. Emphasis will be given on differentiation techniques and their applications, graphing and optimization, integration, and basics of multivariable calculus. The purpose of the course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and to be able to use mathematical models in business, economics, the life and physical sciences, the social sciences, and other general areas of interest.
